Yellowstone National Park

Val & Brenda spent this last Saturday in Yellowstone Park enjoying the beautiful fall weather.  Here are some pictures of that day.  First thing in the morning we saw this big Bull Elk amongst a herd.
Gibbon Falls
An area called "Artist's Paint Pots".

There were several places we saw Buffalo but this was the best picture I got.
Small Elk Herd.
We took our bikes along and did a 10 mile bike ride near Gardiner, Montana.  It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect.
This was our chosen picnic spot in the middle of nowhere, hidden under the trees in the only piece of shade we could find.
This is the view as we sat and ate our lunch.
Big horned Sheep
A large cow moose and her not so small calf.
